Engine Control Module

Function 

The 5.2L BXA engine is regulated by two Engine Control Modules (ECM). The Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) -J623- and the Engine Control Module (ECM) 2 -J624-.

The Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) -J623- and the Engine Control Module (ECM) 2 -J624- regulates fuel injection, Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-, oxygen sensor regulation, ignition, knock control, Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve -N80-, engine speed limitation through fuel injectors orEngine Component Power Supply Relay -J757- as well as On Board Diagnostic (OBD).
