Vehicle Electrical System Control Module 2, Removing and Installing

• Component location: On floor of vehicle beneath front passenger seat

Removing 

• If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions".
• Remove front passengers seat → 72 - SEAT - FRAMES .
• Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
• Remove lower A-pillar trim → 70 - INTERIOR TRIM .

• Fold back floor carpet.

• Remove nuts - arrows  - and remove Vehicle Electrical System Control Module 2 J520.
• Disconnect electrical connector - 1  -.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Install lower A-pillar trim → 70 - INTERIOR TRIM .
• Install passenger seat → 72 - SEAT - FRAMES .
