Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, Removing and Installing

Removing 

• If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions".
• Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
• Remove drivers storage compartment → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT .
• Remove heating duct in drivers footwell.

• Remove Vehicle Electrical System Control Module J519 in - direction of arrow  - from retaining frame.
• Disconnect connectors at on-board power supply control unit.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Install drivers storage compartment → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT .
