Digital Sound System Control Module (BOSE)

The digital sound system control module is located behind the left luggage compartment trim panel between the tail lamp assembly and the wheel housing.

-- Switch off all electrical consumers.

-- Remove the key.

Removing

-- Remove the left luggage compartment trim panel. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Loosen nuts -1- and -3- on bracket.

The digital sound system control module -2- with bracket is only connected at left rear.

-- Tip digital sound system control module -2- with bracket into luggage compartment.

-- Disconnect electrical connectors -1- and -2- on digital sound system control module.

-- Remove bolts -4- and tip digital sound system control module out of clamps -3-.

Installing

-- Install in reverse order.

-- Make sure that digital sound system control module slides into clamp -3- first.
