Night Vision System Camera -R212-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

Component location. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SENSORS AND CONTROL MODULES IN FRONT SECTION OF VEHICLE .

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -4- and free up the wiring harness.

-- Remove the screws -arrows-.

-- Remove the retaining plate -1- with the night vision system camera.

-- Release the clip -2- and disconnect the washer fluid hose -3-.

-- Remove the screws -arrows-.

-- Remove the Night Vision System Camera -R212- -1- from the retaining plate -2-.

Protective Window, Removing

Night Vision System Camera -R212- removed.
If the protective window is no longer watertight due to damage, the Night Vision System Camera -R212- must be completely replaced. Refer to Night Vision System Camera -R212-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the retainers in direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove the trim -1-.

-- Press the retaining tab -1- and turn the cover 90° counter-clockwise -arrow-.

-- Remove the cover -2-, protective window -3-, and seal from the Night Vision System Camera -R212-.
