Rearview Camera -R189-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

If the control module (rearview camera) is being replaced, select the "Replace control module" function for the corresponding control module using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removing

Component location. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SENSORS AND CONTROL MODULES IN REAR SECTION OF VEHICLE .

The Rearview Camera -R189- is integrated in the Release Button in Rear Lid Handle -E234- and cannot be replaced separately.

If faulty, the entire Release Button in Rear Lid Handle - E234- must be replaced with the rearview camera. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - CONTROLS IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT .
