Test-ID 61 ($3D): Tank Vent Valve - Function Check

-- Connect the scan tool.

-- Start the engine and let run at idle speed.

-- Select "Diagnostic Mode 06 - Checking test results of components that are not continuously monitored".

Select "Test-ID 61 ($3D)".

-- Select the desired "Test-ID".

-- Check specified values at idle.

Test-ID (TID) (Hex-ID) DTC Component or System Min. Max. Additional Information
128 ($80) P0441 Function check 0% < 12% Refer to DTC P0441 in the OBD DTC Summary Table for all monitoring values.Engine Control Module - P0441 

-- If any component or system fails to meet the specified values, refer to DIAGNOSTIC MODE 03 - READ DTC MEMORY  to check for stored DTC's or the corresponding diagnostic repair procedure.

-- Switch the ignition off.
