Disable Button
Some vehicles are equipped with a button to manually disable the auto stop/start system. To switch the Auto stop/start system OFF or ON manually, press the button in the center console. See Fig 1. The LED in the button turns on when the system is switched OFF.
NOTE:
On some models, a message in the instrument cluster display may read: "Automatic start/stop deactivated: Please re-start engine manually"
