Radio/Navigation Display Control Module J503 , removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 to do so.

Turn off all electrical components.
Remove ignition key.

Removing

Place Radio Release Tool T10057 - arrows - in release slits on Radio/Navigation Display Control Module J503 until they engage. Points on grip eyes face outward.
Remove Radio/Navigation Display Control Module J503 from instrument panel.
Release connectors on Radio/Navigation Display Control Module J503 and remove it.
Remove Radio Release Tool T10057 by pressing locking tabs on Radio/Navigation Display Control Module J503.

Installing

Connect all harness connectors.
Carefully slide Radio/Navigation Display Control Module J503 into instrument panel and allow it to engage in installation frame.
