Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, PREMIUM SOUND SYSTEM (9VS), THROUGH MY 2020: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

-- Remove the left luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

The Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- is first removed with the bracket.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and pivot the bracket -1- together with the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -2- into the luggage compartment.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -3- from the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -2-.

-- Insert the : VAS6223/9 -1- onto the MOST bus connector -2-.

The Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- is attached to the bracket with screws.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and slide the Digital Sound System Control Module - J525- -1- first in the direction of -arrow A-, then tilt it in the direction of - arrow B- and remove it from the bracket -3-.
