Navigation System Layout (Japan)

The navigation system is part of the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- inside the instrument panel.

Operation is performed via the Multimedia System Control Head -E380-.

The navigation data is stored on an internal hard drive disc (HDD).

A Chip Card Reader Control Module -J676- with a Traffic Data Antenna -R173- is integrated.

  2. Front Information Display Control Head -J685- in center of the instrument panel
  3. Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- inside the instrument panel
  4. Traffic Data Antenna - R173- on the left center of the windshield
  5. Chip Card Reader Control Module -J676- inside the glove compartment
  6. Multimedia System Control Head -E380- in the center console
  7. Steering Column Electronics Control Module -J527- on steering column at steering column switch
  8. Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- Behind the Glove Compartment On the Left Side
  9. Multifunction Steering Wheel
  10. Instrument Cluster Control Module -J285- in the instrument panel
  11. Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- behind the left luggage compartment trim panel
  12. Radio -R- behind the left luggage compartment trim panel
  13. Microphone Unit in Front Roof Module -R164- (Right Front Microphone -R141-) in the Front Interior Lamp -W1-

Perform the Fault Finding with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
