Initialization Sensor

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 13 other vehicles, including the 2017 Audi SQ5, 2017 Audi Q5, 2016 Audi SQ5, 2016 Audi Q5, and 2015 Audi SQ5. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The initialization sensor emits a signal for each turn of the steering wheel or each time the actuator output shaft turn. Refer to ACTUATOR . This signal monitors the center position of the steering gear and with it, the initialization after a fault. A magnetic pre-tensioned hall sensor then works. The initialization sensor is installed in a single housing with the position sensor.
