Air Ionization System Control Module -J897-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

NOTE:

Odors in the air flowing by are neutralized at ionizer.

In the case of vehicles without an air ionization system, seal the installation opening in the air duct in an air-tight manner, for example, with adhesive tape.

-- Replace damaged or defective seals on the ionizer.

-- Install the right B-pillar air duct, refer to B-PILLAR AIR GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

After completing the repair work, perform the following operations on the control head using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function:

-- Check the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory and delete any currently displayed entries.
