Knock Sensor, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Disconnect the connector -2- for the Knock Sensor 1 -G61-.
-- Remove the coolant pump (refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) and remove the coolant thermostat (refer to COOLANT THERMOSTAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ).
NOTE:
The Knock Sensor 1 -G61- is located below the intake manifold behind the coolant pump.
-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and then the Knock Sensor 1 -G61-.
