Footrest Massage/Heating Mat Support Module On Reclining Seat, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Equipped on some models: remove the trim panels for the multimedia system display unit. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM .

-- Unclip the backrest cover trim -1- using the Wedge Set: T10383/1  -arrows- and remove it.

-- Equipped on some models: remove the multimedia system display unit bracket. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM .

-- Move the reclining seat all the way forward and up and move the backrest into the upright position.

-- Move the footrest downward.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.

-- If equipped, unclip the connectors -arrows- from the backrest cover.

-- Loosen the upper backrest cover from the backrest and tip it upward, but do not remove it.

-- Disconnect the heating mat connector -3-.

-- Disconnect the pneumatic line connectors -1 and 2- from the massage function valve block by pressing the release buttons -arrows-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Thread the wire and the pneumatic line connector out of the backrest cover.

-- Disengage the support module -1- for the footrest lower massage/heating mat -arrows- from the backrest cover and remove it.
