Battery Cooling Module Condensation Water Drain, Checking: Checking

-- Turn off the ignition.

-- Remove the luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Bring the battery cooling module in the service position. Refer to BATTERY COOLING MODULE, BRINGING INTO SERVICE POSITION .

-- Inspect the condensation water drain -4- for debris -arrows- and that it has been installed correctly.

• The retaining tab -1- on the plastic ring -2- must face outward.
• The tabs -3- must be correctly engaged.

Restart High Voltage System

-- Turn on the ignition.

-- After installing, check and, if necessary, erase the displayed faults in the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory for the Climatronic Control Module -J255- control head and the Battery Regulation Control Module -J840-. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
