Distance Regulation Control Module -J428- RETAINING PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VERSION 3: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while paying attention to the following:

NOTE:

If the same distance regulation control module is reinstalled the clips on the distance regulation control module must be replaced. Refer to CLIP ON Distance Regulation Control Module -J428-, REPLACING, VERSION 3 .

-- Install the retaining plate with the stud bolt on the control module.

-- Turn the stud bolt into the distance regulation control module up to the dimension -a-.

-- Measure the dimension -a- at all stud bolts using the digital caliper :VAS6335 and correct if necessary.

Dimension -a- = 41.8 mm.
Pay attention that the shank -1- on the caliper when measuring the radar eye -2- does not contact it.
