Overview - Glow Plug System

Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 9 Nm
O-Ring
- If damaged, replace the Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-
Glow Plug
- Glow Plug 1 -Q10-
- Glow Plug 2 -Q11-
- Glow Plug 3 -Q12-
- Glow Plug 4 -Q13-
- Depending on the emissions standard, a cylinder internal pressure sensor is also integrated in the glow plug:
  - Cylinder 1 Combustion Chamber Pressure Sensor -G677-
  - Cylinder 2 Combustion Chamber Pressure Sensor -G678-
  - Cylinder 3 Combustion Chamber Pressure Sensor -G679-
  - Cylinder 4 Combustion Chamber Pressure Sensor -G680-
- Glow Plug Versions and Tightening Specifications. Refer to Fig 2.
- No interchanging of components of various manufacturers.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to GLOW PLUG, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Connector
Transmission Side Sealing Flange
- Removing and Installing. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TRANSMISSION SIDE .
Sensor Wheel
- For the Engine Speed Sensor -G28-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TRANSMISSION SIDE .
Engine Speed Sensor -G28-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Engine Speed Sensor -G28-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 5 Nm
