Component Location Overview - Components Outside Of Passenger Compartment, Component Group 2

  1. Refrigerant Pressure Sensor (A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor -G395- / High Pressure Sensor -G65-)
    • To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function an. Refer to the Appropriate Wiring Diagram.
    • Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - CONDENSER, VEHICLES WITH HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .
      NOTE:

      There are different designations, depending on the vehicle. The sensor is designated as High Pressure Sensor -G65- on the Audi A6 e-tron. It exchanges the data with the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- on this vehicle. On all other vehicles (except for the Audi A6 e-tron), the sensor is designated as the A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor -G395-. For these vehicles, it exchanges data with the Climatronic Control Module -J255- control head. Refer to the Appropriate Wiring Diagram.

  2. Condenser
  3. Receiver/Dryer
  4. Expansion Valve
  5. Condensation Water Drain
  6. Low Pressure Side Service Connection
    • For measuring, emptying and filling
      CAUTION:

      Danger due to refrigerant coming out under pressure when there is a defective valve in the refrigerant circuit.

      Danger of frost bite to skin and other parts of the body.

      • Only remove when the refrigerant circuit is empty. The connection does not have a valve. ..
    • There are different versions depending on the refrigerant (R134a or R1234yf). Refer to SERVICE CONNECTION DIFFERENCES, DEPENDING ON REFRIGERANT (R134A OR R1234YF)  or the Parts information.
    • Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - REFRIGERANT LINES .
  7. High Pressure Side Service Connection
    • For measuring, emptying and filling
      CAUTION:

  8. A/C Compressor Regulator Valve -N280-
    • To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function an. Refer to the Appropriate Wiring Diagram.
  9. A/C Compressor
    • For allocation. Refer to the Parts information.
    • Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - A/C COMPRESSOR POWER UNIT .
    • There are different versions depending on the refrigerant (R134a or R1234yf). Refer to the Parts information.
