Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module -J764-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- To prevent the electronic steering column lock from locking, disconnect the battery ground cable when the ignition is turned on. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
