Safety Precautions When Working On Exhaust System
CAUTION:
Risk of damaging the coupling
Improper handling can cause the coupling to become damaged or to leak.
-- Coupling must not be bent more than 10°.
-- Do not load the coupling on the cable.
WARNING:

Injury to hands as well as other parts of the body is possible due to hot and sharp-edged components of the exhaust system.
-- Allow the exhaust system to cool.
-- Wear safety gloves.
CAUTION:
Exhaust system components can present health risks.
Health risks can result from disassembling the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
-- Do not disassemble the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
