  1. Right Side Heater and A/C Unit
  2. Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor -G263-
  3. Right Front Seat
    • Equipment version with seat heating
    • There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information.
    • Information about seat heating function. Refer to SEAT HEATING .
    • Check the activation and function of the seat heating using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in "Guided Fault Finding"  function and refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
    • Seat Heating, Servicing. Refer to Front Seat Covers and Cushions .
      NOTE:

An neck heating is offered as optional equipment for the A3 Cabrio. For vehicles with a neck heating, there is an additional vent installed in the seat, and in the Climatronic Control Module -J255- A/C control head, there are additional buttons to switch the neck heating on and off. For additional information HEAD AREA HEATER .

  4. Right Instrument Panel Center Vent
  5. Humidity Sensor -G355-
    • Only on vehicles with an automatic climate control system
    • To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to HUMIDITY SENSOR -G355- RAIN/LIGHT RECOGNITION SENSOR -G397- SUNLIGHT PHOTO SENSOR -G107-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • On the Audi Q2 with an automatic climate control system, the Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107- with the Humidity Sensor -G355- and the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- are one component. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
      NOTE:

If there is no Humidity Sensor -G355- installed on vehicles with a A/C Control Module -J301- (no sunlight photo sensor), a permissible stop time is currently calculated by characteristic curves which are influenced by the measured outside air temperature, the "recirculated-air mode" function and operating status of the windshield wipers. The calculated time must be greater than 20 seconds so that the stop function is permitted by the A/C Control Module -J301-. The stop time can be shortened at a lower exterior temperature, when the recirculating air mode is active and/or when it is raining to prevent the windshield and door windows from fogging up. If the calculated time for the Stop function is less than approximately 20 seconds, it is prevented.

The Humidity Sensor -G355- is integrated in the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- and cannot be replaced separately when faulty. Replacing the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- (with Humidity Sensor -G355-). Refer to OVERVIEW - WINDSHIELD or Windshield Wiper System .

The removal of the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- (with the Humidity Sensor -G355-) is described in different assembly groups depending on the vehicle.

  6. Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107-
  7. Instrument Panel Windshield Vent
  8. Right Instrument Panel Side Vent
  9. Right Vent Temperature Sensor -G151-
    • Only on vehicles with an automatic climate control system
    • To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to LEFT/RIGHT VENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G150- / -G151-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • An incorrectly installed vent temperature sensor causes flow-generated noise
  10. Right Instrument Panel Vent
  11. Right Footwell Vent
