A/C Control Module -J301- / Climatronic Control Module -J255-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Check the four clips on the control head; if a clip is bent too far, bend it back.

• If a control head is installed with retainers that are bent too far, it may no longer be able to be removed from the instrument panel (the retainers are too strongly engaged in the mount).

-- If the A/C Control Module -J301- / Climatronic Control Module -J255- is replaced complete the test plan for replacing the -J301- / -J255- use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
