Engine, Securing To Engine And Transmission Holder

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Procedure

Engine engaged with the :2024B on the :VAS6100 . Refer to ENGINE, REMOVING FROM SCISSOR LIFT TABLE .

-- Remove the drive plate. Refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the intermediate plate. Refer to Fig 1.

-- Remove the left alignment sleeve from the cylinder block.

-- Secure the engine to the :VAS6095A -1-.

Assembling

Assemble in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Insert the left alignment sleeve into the cylinder block.

-- Install the intermediate plate. Refer to Fig 1.

-- Install the drive plate. Refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
