-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Version with knee airbag: remove the knee airbag. Refer to KNEE AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2-.
