-- Remove glove box driver's side storage shelf

-- Disconnect harness connector from Servotronic control module -J236- -.

-- Disconnect orange harness connector (arrow) from connector station 1.

-- Set digital multimeter (Fluke 83 or equivalent) to measure resistance, and connect between Servotronic control module connector sockets 8 and 11.

Specified value: ∞ ohms (no continuity)

If not:

-- Check open circuit in wiring according to wiring diagram and repair.

If specified value is obtained:

-- Bridge terminals 5 and 6 of orange connector at connector station 1 using VW 1594 connector test kit.

Specified value: 0 ohms (continuity)

If not:

-- Check open circuit in wiring according to wiring diagram and repair.
