Power Steering Pump: Disassembly
- With pump removed, mark mounting bracket-to-pump location for reassembly reference. Remove fastening bolts (4) from pump, and separate pump at face plate. Remove face plate. See Figure .
- Slightly press down rotor on shaft and remove circlip. Pull pump shaft from pump body. Remove rotor and impeller blades. Note side of rotor with recessed hole for circlip faces end plate. Press ball bearing off shaft.
