Removal & Installation

  1. Mark knock sensor connectors for reassembly reference. Knock sensors connectors are located below idle speed controller. Unplug connectors.
  2. Remove knock sensors, located on side of engine block. To install, clean knock sensor contact surface. When tightening knock sensors, ensure sensor and wiring do not interfere or chafe on brackets, etc. Ensure sensors are plugged into correct connectors. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
