Removal & Installation (5-Series & 7-Series)

PCM is located in box in right rear corner of engine compartment. Open locking bracket on PCM box. Open filter housing cover. Unhook filter housing from hinges. Unhook retaining clip and pull filter housing upward. Remove filter housing. Remove 4 PCM cover bolts. Disconnect PCM electrical connector. Remove PCM. To install, reverse removal procedure.
