Abs/ASC+T/DSC Control Module From 09/98: Removal

1. Before removing the ABS/ASC+T/DSC Control module, read out the fault memory and, if necessary, print out the fault code.
2. Release lock on plug connection (1) in direction of arrow (2). Detach plug connection (1) in direction (3) vertically toward top. See Fig 1 .
3. Release screws (1) and detach control module (2) from hydraulic unit. See Fig 2 .
4. Check sealing face (1) for damage (visual inspection). Clean sealing face (1). Do not use any sharp tools or aggressive cleaning agents here. Check contact lugs (2) for corrosion or damage. See Fig 3 .
