61 14 ... Removing and Installing/Replacing Engine Compartment B+ Terminal

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open cap (1) and release nut underneath.

Tightening torque 61 12 4AZ. See 12 AUXILIARY CABLE .

Remove cable lug mounting from positive battery leads.

Remove cover (1).

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque 61 12 4AZ. See 12 AUXILIARY CABLE .

Remove positive leads.

Release lock (2).

Remove B+ terminal with frame (3).

Installation:

Frame (3) must snap correctly into B+ terminal.
