61 35 224 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Control Unit For Left Or Right Rear Door

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove rear door trim panel. Refer to 51 42 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Disconnect plug connections (1).

Release screws (2).

Remove control unit in rear door (3).

Replacement: 

Carry out coding/programming.

Observe following IDC specifications:

• Programming.
• Coding.
• Car & Key Memory.
• CD "CIP".

Replacement: 

Initialize control unit in rear door. Refer to 67 62... NOTES ON INITIALIZING POWER WINDOW .
