61 31 220 Removing and installing/replacing multifunction steering wheel switch

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: Illustrations show multifunction steering wheel (3) removed.

The two multifunction steering wheel switches (2) can be removed independently of each other.

Release associated screw (1).

Unclip corresponding multifunction steering wheel switch (2) in direction of arrow from multifunction steering wheel (3).

Disconnect associated plug connections and remove multifunction steering wheel switch (2).

Installation:

Make sure electrical leads are correctly routed.
