Diagnosis instructions

The Power Control Unit (PCU) assumes the following functions in addition to energy management:

• K-bus communication
• Self-test
• Monitoring the system
• Loading via a trickle charger
• Supporting the after-run when terminal 30B is active.
• Providing support in auxiliary heater operation and independent ventilation function (activation possible by timer, remote key and direct activation)
• If the vehicle has reached the bottom startability limit and an engine start is no longer possible: Prevention of a breakdown by reloading from the auxiliary battery to the system battery with a relevant Check Control message,
