Connect BMW diagnostic system (ISID) to diagnostic socket.
Switch the ignition on.
Carry out vehicle identification.
Start vehicle test.
The vehicle test is carried out.
NOTE:
The vehicle test is a prerequisite for vehicle diagnosis, since it allows any stored fault codes to be read and a test schedule to be prepared. In the vehicle test, the control units are physically identified in succession and their fault memories read out.
Once the fault memory has been read, all fault memories are displayed in a fault memory list.
Check identified faults and if necessary rectify these faults after consulting with customer.
