Central Locking System: Preconditions

The fuse for the central locking system F57 (up to 09/07) or F73 (as of 09/07) must be renewed. The 15 A fuse is to be renewed by a 20 A fuse! Use a 20 A fuse, even if a 15 A fuse is still indicated on the wiring diagram or on the fuse board!

IMPORTANT: A door lock may only be renewed if its failure or preliminary damage has been determined beyond doubt by means of an oscilloscope measurement.
It is possible that simply replacing the 15 A fuse with a 20 A fuse is effective.
