Mark position of the bore hole (1) according to repair instructions and punch-mark component.
IMPORTANT:
If the specified drill bit diameter is not observed:
- the knurling on the blind rivet nut is rendered useless
- the component will be damaged when the blind rivet nut is set
Drill a hole (1) with the specified diameter and deburr it; predrill with a smaller drill if necessary.
Countersink hole (1).
Countersink depth 2 mm.

Grind area (1) to the bare metal.
Hand-held riveting device MB512:
IMPORTANT:
Follow manufacturer's operating instructions.
Make sure blind rivet nut correctly contacts component.
Set blind rivet nut with hand-held rivet device (1).
Secure grounding cable (1) with screw (2).
Screws M8 tightening torque 41 11 6AZ .
Complete sealing of screw (2) and cable shoe of ground cable (1) with seam sealing.
