Vehicle behavior

Vehicle awake: 

CAN messages are received. Communication on the CAN bus is active. The Car Sharing Module is woken via the K-CAN2.

Reasons that keep the vehicle awake:

• The Car Sharing Module (CSM) keeps the vehicle awake (message on the bus) for acceptance of the reservation. If necessary, extension of terminal 30B (after-run) is requested.
• Ongoing phone calls with the car sharing hotline.
• Operation of the controller (CON).

Vehicle asleep: 

CAN messages are not received. The CSM control unit no longer participates in communication on the CAN bus. Communication on the online connection is possible when the vehicle is asleep.

Reasons that wake the vehicle:

• Authentication via the ID reader.
• Specific online services such as welcoming the customer via the flashing LEDs on the ID reader.
