Removing and installing/replacing switch for automatic tailgate activation

Special tools required:

Removal:

Lever switch for automatic operation of tailgate (1) out of tailgate trim panel (2) with special tool 00 9 327.

Unlock connector (1) on switch for automatic operation of tailgate (2) and disconnect.

Installation:

NOTE: Retaining clips on switch for automatic operation of tailgate (2) must not be missing or damaged.

Connect connector (1) to switch for automatic operation of tailgate (2).
