- Consequential fault: If additional diagnostic fault codes related to malfunctions in the following components have been logged, process these problems first: Mixture control, fuel system, VANOS, tank ventilation, ignition, injectors, crankshaft sensors, camshaft sensor, throttle valve, hot film air mass meter
- Check exhaust system for tightness
- Check wiring harness between DME and oxygen sensor after catalytic converter
- Check crankcase ventilation
- Renew oxygen sensor after catalytic converter
