Consequential faults: If additional diagnostic fault codes related to malfunctions in the following components have been logged, process these problems first: Mixture control, VANOS, tank ventilation, ignition, injectors, crankshaft sensors, camshaft sensor, throttle valve, hot film air mass meter

• Check wiring harness between DME and oxygen sensor before catalytic converter
• Check whether the oxygen sensors upstream and downstream of the catalytic converter have been replaced
• Check crankcase ventilation
• Renew oxygen sensor before catalytic converter
