Condition for fault identification

Temperature precondition:

• Catalytic converter temperature greater than 500 °C.

Time precondition:

• Constant exhaust mass flow greater than 50 kg/h.

Other preconditions:

• Engine running.
• Constant-speed driving with driving speed between 50 and 80 km/h at an average engine speed (1200 to 3000 RPM).
• No fault code entries that could cause a fault in the fuel-air mixture.

Control unit voltage: 9 V to 16 V.
