Fault description

The diagnosis monitors the voltage from the oxygen sensor before catalytic converter and compares it with the voltage from the oxygen sensor after catalytic converter (at lambda excess-air factor = 1).

Fault monitoring conditions:

The fault is detected if the air ratio of the oxygen sensor before catalytic converter deviates too much from the air ratio of the oxygen sensor after catalytic converter.
