Operating conditions

The steering servo assistance is activated under the following conditions:

• No internal control unit fault
• Ignition is switched on
• Engine running

The steering servo is deactivated under the following conditions:

• Internal control unit fault is present
• Vehicle is stationary and engine is off
• Overvoltage exceeding 17 V
• Undervoltage below 9 V.
