41 00... Body Gap Dimensions

The dimensions specified are applicable at an object temperature of 20 °C. The aim of adjustment is to achieve a uniform gap.

Symmetry of the gaps between left and right sides of the vehicle has top priority.

For door gaps, the maximum deviation between the front and rear door gaps must be 1.0 mm.

No gap dimensions are specified for components/gaps which cannot be adjusted.

No range of adjustment between front side panel and front bumper panel.

NOTE: Measure front and rear height adjustment over the entire cover width.

Height over the entire cover width must lie within tolerance.

The lateral distance between the slide/tilt sunroof lid and the roof must be approximately the same on the left and right.
