Chafe marks on the engine wiring harness: Notes

On the N47, chafe marks may appear on the engine wiring harness as a result of unfavorable cable routing.

The chafe marks may lead to fault code entries for the sensor system/actuator system and their voltage supply.

Check the wiring harness for chafe marks as shown below.
