Rail pressure regulating valve: Notes
The rail pressure regulating valve is bolted onto the end of the fuel distributor (rail).
The high-pressure pump generates pressure to maintain a constant level in the rail. Two valves are used to control the required rail pressure:
- Rail pressure regulating valve
- Flow regulating valve (see CORRESPONDING FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION )
