61 11... Installing repair cable for reversing camera (TRSVC)

Read and comply with notes on HANDLING WIRING HARNESSES AND CABLES .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove TAILGATE TRIM PANEL
Remove PANEL FOR ROOF PILLAR AT REAR (D-PILLAR)
Remove RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL
Remove RIGHT DOOR SILL COVER STRIP
Remove TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM
Remove INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM AT BOTTOM RIGHT
Remove FOOTWELL SIDE TRIM PANEL ON A-PILLAR ON RIGHT .
Lift carpet on the right
Disconnect battery earth lead. See DISCONNECTING/CONNECTING BATTERY EARTH LEAD or DISCONNECT/CONNECT BATTERY EARTH LEAD (PLUG-IN HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE) .

Route repair cable from rear view camera (1) along wiring harness (2) up to the control unit (3) for top/REAR/side view camera and secure sufficiently.

Route any overlength repair cable under carpet.

After successful completion of function check , detach start and end of faulty cable at first mounting point.

NOTE: Work is shown by way of example. There may be differences in specific details depending on the vehicle equipment.
Remove the non-required cables from the repair cable when exclusively renewing the line for the rear view camera.
Please see below for the cables required for repair work.

Connect connector (1) with the rear view camera.

Route the remaining repair wiring harness to the control unit for top/REAR/side view camera.

Unpin cable (1) from the connector (2) and pin into existing connector.

Pin cable (3).

NOTE: After successful completion of function check , detach start and end of faulty cable at first mounting point.
