Head-Up Display: Notes

The Head-Up Display shows information, such as instructions given by the navigation system or the driving speed, using the windscreen in the driver's field of view. The Head-Up Display is installed directly behind the instrument cluster in the dashboard. The Head-Up Display is activated by the instrument cluster (KOMBI). The instrument cluster (KOMBI) provides the voltage supply and data for the image display. The image display is switched on or off using the central operating facility. In addition, there is day and night-time illumination similar to the display in the instrument cluster (KOMBI) and the central information display. The information continues to be displayed in the instrument cluster and central information display. The information displayed on the Head-Up Display is dependent on the vehicle equipment. The information can be selected on the central information display using the controller. The information selected under Personal Profile is stored in the instrument cluster (KOMBI).
