Touchbox (TBX) with controller (CON) and rear-compartment controller (FCON): Notes

A character identification is implemented in markets with a non-Arabic character set. A touchpad is also installed on the controller (CON) and the rear-compartment controller (FCON). For example, the character recognition is very useful for the input of navigation destinations.

A separate control unit is installed for the identification of characters, the Touchbox (TBX).

This technology will be used for additional vehicle functions at a later time. The controller with touchpad serves in combination with the headunit to select and configure a variety of vehicle functions.
